About the Role
As the Head of Training & Operations, you will be accountable for the effective day-to‐day operation of the RTO across training delivery, administration, student experience, operational systems, and quality governance. You will be responsible for ensuring training and assessment is implemented as designed, staff are appropriately supported and scheduled, records and systems are accurate, and compliance obligations are consistently met.
This is a senior leadership role in an SMB RTO environment where outcomes matter more than hierarchy. The role requires someone who can build structure, simplify processes, ensure consistent execution, and oversee compliance and quality without creating bureaucracy. You will also be required to step in and complete day‐to‐day operational tasks as required.
This full‐time role is based on the Gold Coast (Coomera), QLD.

What We're Looking For
* Extensive experience in the vocational education and training sector, with a proven track record of leading training operations
* Practical understanding of the VET Quality Framework, including Outcome Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2025
* Strong understanding of first aid and workplace safety training requirements, as well as relevant industry regulations and compliance standards
* Excellent people management skills, with the ability to lead, motivate and develop a high‐performing team
* Strong process design capability and the discipline to implement and sustain SOPs
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively
* Highly organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast‐paced environment
