Taronga Western Plains Zoo are seeking bubbly and vibrant casual Guest Experience Officers to join our Accommodation team. This role will support our reservations team for Taronga’s Iconic accommodation –Zoofari!
About the Role…
Working as a Guest Experience Officer within the Reservations Team, your focus will be all things accommodation bookings and enquiries, while promoting Taronga’s broad range of experiences.
Taronga prides itself on guest experience! We are seeking motivated individuals to deliver that top notch Taronga customer service to our zoo guests staying at our world class Accommodation ‘Zoofari’.
Your Day to Day…
Shifts work on a 7-day rotating roster including; Some weekends, public holidays, and?school holiday periods, therefore mixed availability is necessary.
Shift times flexible, generally?be between 8am–5pm.
This role is diverse and exciting! With face-to-face interactions, we always pride ourselves in handling all enquiries with exceptional customer service and a smile.
Key Accountabilities…
4. Use the hotel systems to process and input all reservations types in an accurate and efficient manner
5. Maintain a positive selling approach to maximise yield in both occupancy and rates.
6. Respond to guest calls according to hotel policy and ensuring an outstanding guest experience
7. Ensure arrivals list is accurate & checked on a daily basis, and that accurate data is recorded for all reservations.
8. Comply with Taronga’s Customer Service Charter and suggest initiatives for further improvement to ensure industry leading standards are maintained.
9. Comply with and report any Work, Health and Safety incidents in line with Taronga’s Work, Health and Safety Charter.
Essential Requirements...
10. Hold a current NSW Driver's License or ability to have existing license formally recognised.
11. Maintain a current Working with Children Check at your own expense.
12. Current Applied FIrst Aid Qualification (or willingness to obtain) - highly desirable
