About this role:
As a Principal Compliance Officer, you will lead small teams to implement key components of our Compliance Program. Your focus will be on high-risk industries and areas where non-compliance could cause significant harm.
The Compliance Division is responsible for promoting, monitoring, investigating and enforcing compliance with various laws, including the Labour Hire Licensing Act 2018.
The objectives of the scheme are to:
* Protect vulnerable workers from exploitation by labour hire services and host employers
* Improve transparency and integrity in the labour hire industry
About you:
* You have a strong desire to contribute to improving employment conditions for vulnerable workers
* Experienced in developing people and leading compliance and enforcement activities in a government or regulatory context
