About the Opportunity
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for driving sustainable sales growth for retail and on-premise channels, managing key customer relationships and leading a small team.
* Develop and execute strategic plans to grow sales across key accounts in line with commercial objectives.
* BUILD strong relationships with banner groups, MSOs, and hospitality ownership groups to drive brand visibility and availability.
* Lead and coach a team of two Sales Executives, fostering high performance and execution excellence.
* Negotiate and manage joint business plans, promotional activity, and new product launches to optimise portfolio performance.
* Provide market insights and customer intelligence to inform internal strategy and decision-making.
* E nsure accurate forecasting, investment tracking, and delivery of customer commitments. Represent the company at trade and brand events, delivering premium experiences and advocating for the brand with professionalism and passion.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* The ability to mentor and grow team members in line with their career goals and business objectives.
* Strong face-to-face sales skills, with a hunger to close the sale.
* A passion for luxury wine and the ability to talk about it.
* A degree in business, marketing or related field preferred.
* Demonstrated commercial acumen with a strong strategic focus.
* An understanding of managing wholesalers.
* An agent of change, able to embrace and grow with it.
* Strong communication and influencing skills.
