About TradePath

TradePath is a straightforward SaaS platform helping qualified UK and Irish tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters, bricklayers, etc.) transfer their qualifications and get licensed in Australia — using a clear, DIY approach to navigate the process themselves.

Built from my real experience as an electrician who independently completed the full UK-to-Australia electrical licence transfer (TRA assessment + state licensing) between 2022–2024, without agents.

Users answer a quick questionnaire about their trade, qualifications, experience, visa, and location — then get a personalised step‐by‐step plan: required steps, assessment authorities, timeframes, training options, document checklists, and official links.

Live now at www.tradepathaus.com — freemium model with free basic guidance and premium detailed plans.

The Opportunity

For 2026, the focus is building a trusted audience in the UK/Irish trade migration community through valuable, educational short‐form content on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.

We're looking for a passionate content creator or social media manager to help grow our presence and establish TradePath as the go‐to source for practical licensing info.

Perfect if you enjoy creating helpful content, engaging niche communities (tradies, expats, migration), and contributing to an early‐stage startup with genuine impact.

Key Responsibilities

* Create/edit short‐form videos/reels (educational, practical, no‐fluff style)
* Write captions, descriptions, and hashtags
* Schedule/post 4–6 times per week across platforms
* Engage with comments, messages, and relevant migration groups (e.g., Brits in Australia, UK Tradies in Australia)
* Suggest content ideas based on audience questions
* Track engagement and help build toward 3,000–5,000 total followers with strong interaction

Content Focus

* Explaining licence transfers (e.g., "How UK electricians get licensed in Australia")
* Common TRA/OSAP mistakes and tips
* Migration pathways, state differences, real‐experience insights
* Founder stories + practical advice
* 80% value/education, 20% promotional

I supply: licensing knowledge, topic ideas, personal insights, and raw details — you turn them into engaging, relatable posts.

What We're Looking For

* Experience with short‐form video content (TikTok/Reels ideal)
* Solid editing skills (e.g., CapCut, InShot)
* Understanding of social media engagement tactics
* Authentic, direct style that resonates with tradies
* Bonus: Interest in migration, trades, or Aussie expat life

Why Join?

* Help tradies save time/money navigating a confusing process
* Authentic, founder‐led project with big potential (future expansion to Canada, NZ, etc.)
* Flexible, low‐pressure role — great for freelancers, students, or side‐hustlers
* Opportunity to grow alongside the platform

If this excites you, reach out!

Reply or DM/email with:

* Quick intro about yourself
* Links/examples of your previous content/social work
* Any initial ideas for reaching TradePath's audience

Looking forward to hearing from you!
