TQA Consulting is seeking a PMO Project Manager for a 12-month full-time contract in Darwin, NT. Candidates must be based in Darwin or willing to relocate and have lived in Australia for the past 5 years.

About The Role
You will work on the successful management and delivery of high-value, highly complex business systems projects. The Project Manager will be accountable for overseeing solution design, delivery, and implementation to ensure project objectives are achieved.
This role requires consultation and coordination with stakeholders and subject matter experts to translate business requirements and priorities into effective solutions that deliver agreed business outcomes.
Essential Skills and Experience
* 5–10 years of experience in designated project management roles.
* High-level leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the capability to take a leading role across business units, vendors, and project stakeholders.
* Advanced project management skills, including strong knowledge and experience in project management methodologies, techniques, and frameworks, with particular emphasis on effective project planning and control, as well as risk and issue management.
* Demonstrated experience providing leadership in governance and probity matters, strategic and business planning, resolving complex risks and issues, and successfully delivering agreed business priorities and objectives.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and liaison skills, particularly the ability to negotiate and collaborate with individuals across business areas, functions, and the wider organisation to achieve high-quality outcomes.
* Proven ability to support and facilitate change management, ensuring the effective integration of new ICT capabilities with organisational transformation initiatives.
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Visio and standard office applications, including Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook (email), with demonstrated experience using JIRA and SharePoint or the ability to rapidly acquire proficiency.
* Experience in identifying and analysing complex legislative and/or regulatory requirements relevant to the applicable industry or work environment and their associated processes.
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Experience working in large, complex, and high-profile ICT project or program environments.
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks.
* Experience with technical concepts, including system analysis, solution design, system integration, and related interfaces.
* Experience working within a government environment, preferably within the policing and/or emergency services sectors.

* National Police Certificate.
* Working with Children Certificate (OCHRE).
* PF166 Criminal History Check Clearance (Authority to Release Criminal History).
* Candidates must have full working rights and be currently residing in Australia.
