We are seeking an experienced Retail Design Manager to lead our brand standards across Coles Supermarket, Coles Local, and Coles Liquor brands.
About the Role
This is a key leadership position responsible for managing design documentation processes, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include creating blueprint and format plans, overseeing information sharing, and participating in site visits.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop retail design strategies and solutions that meet business objectives.
* Manage design documentation processes, including Typical, Standard drawings, Visual Identity documents, and blueprints.
* Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and quantity surveyors.
* Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and incorporate relevant considerations into design work.
* Participate in site visits to review design standards and ensure safety compliance.
You'll Need
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* Proven experience in retail planning, design, commercial, and financial management.
* Ability to manage construction consultants, including architects, engineers, and quantity surveyors.
* Experience presenting to senior leaders or large groups.
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
* Financial understanding of key metrics required to improve Return on Equity.
* Degree in architecture or engineering (desirable).
