We're seeking a skilled PMO Lead to drive ICT program assurance, governance, and delivery performance across a complex government, multi‑vendor environment. You'll apply established project methodologies, manage risks and issues, oversee financials and contractor deliverables, and provide clear, high‑quality reporting to executives. With strong commercial acumen and stakeholder influence, you'll build trusted relationships, simplify complex information, and support confident decision‑making. You bring deep ICT portfolio experience, sharp analytical skills, and a commitment to integrity and continuous improvement. Relevant tertiary qualifications and professional certifications are highly regarded.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
* Extensive experience in ICT program assurance, governance, or portfolio management in complex government organisations with multi-vendor environments.
* Proven expertise in program/project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile) and assurance frameworks.
* Strong knowledge of ICT investment management, business case development, and benefits realisation.
* Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and communicate risks and issues to executive audiences with clarity and impact.
* Highly developed stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at senior levels.
* Demonstrable experience running a program/project office including undertaking project tracking, financial processing and monitoring, monitoring contractor time, materials and deliverables, and providing timely and accurate reporting.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience preparing high-quality reports and recommendations.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in ICT, business, or related discipline; professional certifications (e.g., MSP, P3O, PMI, COBIT, ITIL, AgilePM, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
* Demonstrated commitment to integrity, independence, and the continuous improvement of assurance practices.
This is a fixed term position available until 30 September 2028. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
