About the role
We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Customer Service & Takeaway Attendant to join our team at TROPIC PETROLEUM in Townsville, QLD. This casual role will see you providing exceptional service to our valued customers, ensuring a positive and efficient experience every time.
What you'll be doing
* Greeting customers and providing a warm, welcoming atmosphere
* Taking orders and processing payments for food, drinks and other merchandise
* Preparing and serving takeaway items to customers
* Maintaining a clean and well-stocked site
* Assisting with inventory management and stock replenishment
* Providing excellent customer service and addressing any queries or concerns
* Adhering to all health, safety and hygiene standards
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably in the food and beverage industry
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional manner
* Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Good numeracy skills and attention to detail
* Flexible and adaptable, able to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays
* A passion for providing outstanding customer service
