Job Overview
Heavy duty diesel mechanics play a vital role in the smooth operation of major civil construction, infrastructure and building projects.
Responsibilities:
* A minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience post-apprenticeship is required.
* Proficiency with hydraulic systems is essential.
* Experience working on concrete placing booms and cranes is highly desirable.
* The ability to work in a FIFO position and/or on a civil construction site, providing site coverage as needed, is crucial.
* Effective troubleshooting and field service skills are necessary for breakdown call-outs.
* A minimum of 5 years of experience working with civil plant equipment is required.
* An air-conditioning ticket is highly desirable but not mandatory.
