YOU | As a successful candidate, you will display high levels of professionalism, commitment and credibility in all business dealings and demonstrate the ability to build rapport and collaborative relationships. You will bring your experience and knowledge of working in a commerce, finance or banking, preferably in a rural or agricultural environment. It is also highly desirable that you are an individual with an affinity with regional customers and be well-equipped to navigate the opportunities and challenges facing regional Australian Agribusinesses.
• Demonstrated experience in a rural banking or account management role
• Ability to simplify and manage complex banking interactions for clients
• Knowledge and understanding of specialised financial products
• Ability to network effectively and maintain good professional working relationships with a range of different stakeholders
• Understanding of the business, attitudes and needs of agricultural customers
• Experience in family farm succession planning would be highly desirable
THE ROLE | The role will see you work with Agribusiness customers to support their short and long term financial needs through the delivery of tailored financial and consulting services. Working as a conduit between financiers, business advisors and intergenerational stakeholders, you will leverage the tools at your disposal to ‘future proof’ farming businesses, ensuring financial viability into the future.
