What will I be doing?
Working in a supportive team environment, you will be trained in the pre and post production processes of aircraft components, exercising high precision trade skills using various material and/or specialist manufacturing techniques. Absolutely no previous experience in our industry required.
Shift options (you must be available for the afternoon shift):
Day Shift: 6am – 2:30pm
Afternoon Shift: 2:30pm – 11pm (15% salary loading)
Night Shift: 10pm – 6:30am (30% salary loading)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience)
Australian recognised Trade qualification is essential
Completion of a trade Apprenticeship backed with relevant experience working in your trade
Literacy and numeracy skills to follow and interpret work instructions and engineering drawings
Hand skills with a high level of attention to detail under repetitive conditions
Ability to work independently or part of a diverse team towards a common goal and to agreed deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Enjoy working with hands and physical work
Basic computer skills
Commitment to OHS procedures
Reliable and willingness to work afternoon shift is essential
Full, unrestricted working rights for Australia
Additional Information
This is an Enterprise Agreement position classified as a Base Tradesperson. Starting base salary: $95,817 + 12% Super and will increase to $98,697 + 12% Super upon successful completion of training. Candidates will be required to complete background checks and successfully complete a 3-month probationary period.
