To deliver on this new and exciting work, we are seeking skilled trades individuals to undertake long-term, world-leading training in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, U.S.Placements are available in February 2026 and will be between 12-18 months in duration.ResponsibilitiesProcess transactions related to nuclear materials, including receipt, identification, inspection, segregation, storage and disposal.Maintain a precise inventory of nuclear material to support fleet readiness, in line with NAVSEA requirementsProvide industrial and logistical support for the nuclear propulsion divisionSupport preparations for internal and external auditsEligibility CriteriaThe successful applicant must possess:Australian CitizenshipAn ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 defence clearanceDiploma in Logistics, supply chain or warehousing operationsStrong knowledge of inventory control systemsPrevious experience in a shipyard or defence logistics (desirable)Ability to interpret and apply defence specific regulations to nuclear or controlled materialsAdditional DetailsDuring deployment, you will receive on the job training combined with instructor led classroom training.
This training program and work is carried out in accordance with company and US Navy processes and procedures.At the completion of your deployment, you will return to Western Australia (WA) to carry out the planning, management, and in-water maintenance activities on the United States Navy Virginia Class Submarines.
