About the Role
Due to continued growth and expansion, we are seeking Expressions of Interest for an experienced Scoper/Supervisor to join our team supporting our contract across the Orange NSW region.
This is a unique and hands‐on field based role, working directly with the client to support the safe and efficient delivery of vegetation management works. Based primarily in Orange, the role typically involves around six months of local work per year. When work in the Orange region slows, the successful candidate will be required to work away from home, primarily across Penrith and Newcastle.
Working closely with field crews, supervisors, and operational leaders, you will play a key role in scoping, auditing, supervising, and supporting the delivery of works to a high standard across the network.
Key responsibilities
* Conduct vegetation assessments, scoping works, and auditing field crews across the powerline network
* Supervise crews onsite to ensure works are completed safely, compliantly, and to client standards
* Work directly with the client while maintaining strong relationships with landowners and customers
* Provide hands‐on operational support and undertake \"on the tools\" work as required
* Record inspections, scopes, and works data accurately using company‐issued iPads and digital systems
* Support the safe and efficient delivery of vegetation management works across Orange, Penrith, and Newcastle
What you will bring
* Strong vegetation management industry experience in a Scoper, Supervisor, Arborist, or similar role
* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise and support field crews onsite
* Strong understanding of safety, compliance, and vegetation management industry standards
* Confident communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including client and landowner interaction
* Good knowledge of tree species and vegetation management practices
* Competent using iPads and digital systems for reporting and data collection
* Reliable, organised, and willing to work away from home as required
* Cert II ESI
* Cert III Arboriculture
