About the Role:
The Principal House Officer in Obstetrics & Gynaecology will provide high-quality patient care to women and families while working closely with consultants, visiting specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals.
Main Responsibilities:
* Antenatal, Intrapartum, Postnatal, and Gynaecological Care: Provide comprehensive care to patients throughout their obstetric journey, from preconception to post-delivery.
* Medical Student Education and Clinical Teaching: Support the education and training of medical students, contributing to the University of Queensland's clinical teaching program.
* Quality Improvement Initiatives: Participate in upgrading medical education and promoting quality improvement initiatives within the department.
