The future for Trane is moving forward with new products and superior technical service for our customers.Reporting to the Area Services Manager, your role is to provide exceptional support as part of a team of professional service technicians, responsible for carrying out operational, maintenance and repair works on commercial BMCS and Plant Control Systems across Brisbane and the surrounding areas.Key Responsibilities Include:Responsible for the diagnosis, repair, validation and commissioning of existing installed base of building automation systems utilizing knowledge of direct digital controls (DDC), airflow, hydronics, refrigeration theory and applied control strategies.Responsible for troubleshooting, repairs, quoting remedial works and ongoing planned maintenance.Represents the company by serving as the direct customer contact and is responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned tasks, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, diagnosing, quoting, repairing equipment and systems at customer’s location.Coordinates with team leader and customer to precisely understand requirements for all on-site repairs by extensively examining building layouts, forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing on-site work within a team environment.Keeps current on Trane and Trend products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems.Continually enforces safety to the highest corporate and legislative standards.Fostering and maintaining professional working relationships amongst Customers, Colleagues, and peers with the ability to work autonomously and within a broader team environmentWorking autonomously as well as part of a broader teamFlexibility to work overtime and weekends as the business requires, including occasional overnight stays.To be successful for this role ideally you will have:5 + years' experience in the relevant industryGreat interpersonal, written & oral communication skillsCurrent QLD driver's licenseConstruction Induction CardTrade Qualified in relevant tradeThorough understanding of HSE industry requirementsApplied knowledge of BMS engineering principles and energy conservation measuresHands-on experience in building management systemsExperience working on small service projectsTechnical knowledge in HVAC and Central Plant or Energy Solutions environmentHigh level of technical competency in BMS and related control products/devices.
