In this role, you'll:
Work with the Commercial and Supply Chain team of our Engineering and Maintenance branch of Sydney Trains, supporting the commercial procurement of our Engineering construction business.
This role will see you act as the go between for project management and suppliers as you bring analysis and recommended courses of action with a focus of Operational Technology contracts that will align with our contract management plan.
You will have the responsibility of dealing with what occurs from the course of action taken from such activities as running supply review and contract review meetings. The use of Ariba and the ability to be hands-on with administration tasks like processing a variation will also be a part of this role.

About you
You are someone with a strong commercial focus and experienced in customer focused contracts management.
You’re recognised as commercially savvy and being successful in dealing with stakeholders within a complex stakeholder environment and capable of bringing a team together with solutions and resolutions to contractual issues and requirements.
As an individual, you're a initiative-taking person who is looking for a customer focused role, where your internal stakeholders are your customer. In addition to this, you are able to navigate supply and performance meetings and disputes that occur, that will enable the engineering team to focus on what they do best, which is the delivery of projects.
This is a Fixed Term Full-Time role till 30/09/2024 based in Burwood with flexibility through our cutting-edge hybrid working model!
