Job Title: Spray Painter
At our Dandenong facility, we're looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Spray Painter.
* The successful applicant will have a Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology or equivalent.
* Previous experience in spray painting and panel/body repairs on heavy vehicles is essential.
* Autonomy and teamwork are key skills required for this role.
Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of parts and surfaces for painting or coating.
2. Pouring paint into spray guns.
3. Applying rust-proof undercoats and primers using a spray gun.
4. Sanding and cleaning surfaces between coats where required.
5. Identifying and touching up any defective areas.
6. Keeping track of paint stock inventory and liaising with appropriate personnel.
