You'll provide trusted tax advice across a broad and technically interesting client base, spanning income tax, GST, FBT, M&A and international tax matters.Day-to-day responsibilities include:Providing trusted tax advisory support to clients and the broader firmUndertaking technical tax research to support tax positions and decision makingAdvising on ATO reviews, risk matters and tax due diligenceOngoing tax planning, strategic reviews and advice to multi-entity family and business groupsCorporate tax issues including tax consolidation and Division 7AGroup restructures, including CGT rollovers and tax concessionsGST (including property transactions), FBT and Superannuation GuaranteeVendor and purchaser advisory across M&A transactions, including pre-sale structuring and acquisition structuringATO risk reviews, audits, objections, dispute management and private binding rulingsCross-border income tax and GST issues for inbound and outbound businessesWhat they're looking for This role suits an experienced tax professional who thrives on variety, brings strong commercial instincts, and is ready to operate as a trusted adviser across a diverse client base.You will bring:5+ years' tax experienceStrong background in private tax, income tax, FBT, GST and due diligenceCA, CPA, LLB, CTA (beneficial, not essential);Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or LawStrong research, analytical and written communication skillsA commercial, problem-solving mindset with the ability to learn and be proactive#J-18808-Ljbffr
