About the Role As a Freight Operator, you’ll complete a comprehensive training program combining theory and hands-on experience. Key responsibilities include: Performing shunting and yard duties (including cleaning) Examining and certifying trains for departure readiness Conducting brake tests Safely unloading customer products Communicating effectively with depot personnel (face-to-face and via two-way radio) What We’re Looking For To succeed in this role, you’ll need: Ability to obtain a Shunt Qualification (mandatory).
