The Role
We're seeking part‐time General Practitioners to deliver safe, compliant telehealth care and lead patient management across Alternative, Men's Health, Women's Health, and Bio‐Performance Medicine.
This role suits GPs who wants flexible hours alongside an existing practice or portfolio career.
* Commitment: 2–3 days per week equivalent, or ~10–20 clinical hours with additional async governance time
* Location: Remote (Australia-wide)
* Engagement: Contractor or casual arrangement, with flexible scheduling
Clinical Focus Areas
* Alternative Medicine: evidence‐informed prescribing of plant‐based and other complementary therapies under TGA pathways
* Men's Health: hormones, sexual health, metabolic health, sleep, mental health, performance
* Women's Health: cycle‐aware care, perimenopause/menopause, fertility support, pelvic health, sleep and mood
* Bio‐Performance Medicine: lifestyle, weight loss, recovery, cognition, and metabolic optimisation using validated interventions
What you'll do
* Conduct telehealth consultations and clinical reviews in agreed session blocks
* Determine AP vs SAS‐B pathways and manage TGA/state notifications and approvals where applicable
* Develop and manage patient‐centred treatment plans across the four focus areas, with staged goals and safety monitoring
* Prescribe within evidence‐based protocols and clinic SOPs, including follow‐ups, documentation, and adverse event reporting
* Coordinate with pharmacists and allied practitioners for integrated care and continuity
* Participate part‐time in clinical governance: case reviews, protocol refinement, quality and safety
Example Treatment Plan Components
* Alternative Medicine: consider plant‐based options where appropriate under TGA frameworks, titration plans, objective measures
* Men's Health: cardiometabolic baseline, hormone evaluation when indicated, sleep and mental health screening, stepwise therapy
* Women's Health: cycle and reproductive history, menopause staging, shared‐decision protocols, contraindications review
* Bio‐Performance: lifestyle, nutrition, sleep, and cognitive support with validated tools and progress tracking
* Monitoring: PROMs, safety labs when indicated, RTPM checks (e.g., QScript/SafeScript), structured follow‐ups
You bring
* Must be an Australian resident
* Eligibility to obtain Authorised Prescriber status for relevant indications, or prior AP/SAS‐B experience
* Sound knowledge of Australian telehealth standards, RTPM, and S8/S4 regulatory requirements
* Proficiency with e‐prescribing and digital clinical workflows
* Excellent communication, clinical judgement, and a patient‐centred approach
Nice to have
* FRACGP or FACRRM
* Experience with Alternative Health including AP/SAS-B experience
* Experience across men's and women's health, chronic disease, sleep, or mental health
* Prior telehealth experience and familiarity with Cliniko or similar EHRs, Hubspot, Google Workspace & Notion
* Interest in protocol development and mentoring
