Join The Geelong College as a full-time, 12-month administration expert supporting staff, operations and office processes.
We are seeking an energetic, highly organised, and people-focused administrator to join our Human Resources team.
This role is ideal for a strong administrator who thrives in a fast-paced, confidential environment and enjoys being the first point of contact for staff. While exposure to Human Resources is beneficial, extensive HR experience is not required – we are primarily seeking exceptional administrative capability, attention to detail, and a professional, service-oriented approach.
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will provide high-quality administrative and generalist support across recruitment, onboarding, compliance, payroll liaison and employee records, playing a pivotal role in ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations across the College.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
* Qualification in Administration or Human Resources (Cert IV or higher preferred)
* At least 2 years' experience in an administrative role, ideally in an education setting
* Strong computer skills and experience with databases
* Hold a current Working with Children Check (Employee), or ability to obtain
* Evidence of Right to Work in Australia
* Completion of The School's Victorian Asthma training, or willingness to complete
Note: Experience in Human Resources or the education sector is highly regarded but not essential.
