We work with both new and current technology, creating innovative solutions to overcome high-volume obstacles and to deliver player value.As a Senior Software Engineer on the Sydney Core Tech team within Teamfight Tactics, you will work with a diverse and passionate team of engineers in the development of internal and shared tools that empower all developers and collaborators to make the best game experiences for our players.This is a 12 month contract position based in Sydney, Australia.Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain software systems with a focus on quality, reliability, and maintainabilityParticipate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of team practicesWrite clear documentation and communicate technical details across disciplinesProvide technical guidance to more junior team membersRequired Qualifications:3+ years experience in professional software developmentProfessional experience and proficiency with C++Robust understanding of software engineering fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, concurrency, etc.)Fluency in English and MandarinDesired Qualifications:Experience with Backend Services Integration (e.g. analytics)Knowledge/experience working in game developmentExperience using Unreal EngineFamiliarity with Teamfight TacticsFor this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and decision-making that prioritizes the delight of players.
