Solutions Architect - Network Engineer
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to assume operational responsibility for brand new managed network and data centre services. The ideal candidate will be a skilled network engineer with a passion for solving intricate issues and providing outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own and resolve complex network faults and incidents using problem management methodology.
* Scope and implement advanced changes across managed network environments.
* Set up and oversee solutions from key vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, HP / Aruba, Riverbed, and F5.
* Support SD-WAN technologies (Fortinet, VeloCloud, Viptela, Meraki).
* Operate within ITIL-aligned service management frameworks and contractual SLAs.
* Collaborate across teams to support transitions, changes, and blocking issues.
* Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
* 7+ years in ICT network engineering or service provider environments.
* Proficient in Cisco routing / switching, BGP / OSPF, and data centre technologies.
* Familiarity with Juniper, Aruba, Riverbed, and wireless solutions.
* Familiarity with service level, change, and transition management.
* Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer engagement skills.
* F5 LTM / GTM, Fortinet NSE, Python / Ansible (DevOps), ITIL knowledge (desirable).
* Experience with WWAN (3G / 4G), SD-WAN, and multi-vendor environments (desirable).

* Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) – Routing & Switching.
* Juniper JNCIS-ENT.
* CCNA Wireless.
* Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA).
* Riverbed RCSA-W.
* CCIE or CCNP Data Centre.
* JNCIP-ENT.
* ACMP.
* Riverbed RCSA-P.
* Fortinet NSE.
* F5 BIG-IP Administrator.
