The Position
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer, Mission Critical space to get involved in expanding our team in Melbourne and help further strengthen our technical capabilities whilst working on landmark projects.
You will be joining the Electrical team, with role will predominantly be focused on overseeing the delivery of Data Centre projects.

* Design and review of Electrical system designs for a range of Data Centre & Mission Critical projects
* Act as a sounding board for Electrical engineers in the office, offering design direction and guidance
* Peer review of designs and specifications of Electrical systems
* Play an active role in developing the Electrical team technical capability
* Be expected to lead projects and represent NDY externally in project and technical meetings
* Providing client oversight of contractor works and oversee contractor install and commissioning in projects
* Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and contacts on new and emerging technologies and their application
* Ensure that NDY's quality system is implemented and maintained on all projects
* Support with business development and identifying opportunities for new work, including assistance with project bid and interview phases.

* Quality-focused reviewer who can verify and assess design work completed by others, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and providing coaching, guidance, and training to less experienced engineers.
* Technically curious engineer committed to ongoing development, with experience across market sectors such as commercial office, health, retail, hospitality, and more.
* Confident and articulate communicator who builds strong relationships, works flexibly, and approaches challenges with lateral thinking to deliver smart, practical solutions for our clients.
Your background
* Established engineering experience across the full project lifecycle, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
* Additional professional registrations such as CPEng are advantageous.
* Experience working within the building services sector, with sound knowledge of Australian building codes and standards.
* Strong understanding of all relevant Standards and Building Codes applicable to your region.
* Sound knowledge of project stages and delivery methods (e.g., full design, design and construct).
* Ability to apply advanced problem‐solving skills and use sound initiative and judgement to work independently and meet project objectives.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information effectively—both verbally and in writing—to stakeholders across multiple disciplines, including colleagues and clients.
