WIAG Global (Wine In A Glass) is an Australian beverage manufacturing business operating across domestic and international markets. We specialise in premium single-serve wine and cocktail formats supplied to distributors, wholesalers, licensed venues, and direct-to-consumer through a growing eCommerce channel.
WIAG has achieved strong traction across a diverse range of international channels, and we are now focused on unlocking the same breadth of opportunity within the Australian domestic market. As part of this next phase, we are appointing a dedicated wholesale and channel sales professional to manage and grow domestic distribution.
About the role
This is a full-time,
hands-on wholesale and channel development role
, focused on execution, consistency, and repeat ordering.
You will manage existing domestic distributors and wholesalers while also progressing new domestic sales channels where WIAG's established single-serve format is well suited to operationally constrained environments such as liquor retail groups, airlines, events, venues, no-glass environments with an ever increasing end user demand for the convenience and safety WIAG delivers.
The role reports directly to the Managing Director.
Key responsibilities
* Manage and service existing domestic distributors and wholesalers
* Drive consistent reorder cadence and volume growth across accounts
* Support the introduction of new SKUs into existing wholesale channels
* Identify and progress new domestic sales channels aligned to WIAG's format (e.g. retail groups, airlines, events, venues, hospitality operators)
* Manage new channel opportunities from initial engagement through first and subsequent orders, ensuring commercial discipline and long-term viability
* Conduct planned visits to liquor stores and banners that have expressed interest in ranging WIAG products, in coordination with wholesale partners
* Coordinate with operations to support onboarding, forecasting, and supply planning
* Monitor sell-in performance, order frequency, and account trends
* Resolve day-to-day account issues efficiently and professionally
* Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reporting

* Pricing or contract negotiation authority
* Strategic sales or brand planning ownership
* Managing staff or sales teams
* Ownership of eCommerce or direct-to-consumer sales operations
* High-frequency route sales or merchandising-heavy activity
* Pure "hunter" style new-business development
This is an
execution-focused channel role
designed to professionalise domestic wholesale performance.
About you
You are likely to have:
* Experience managing distributors, wholesalers, or wholesale-aligned liquor store relationships in FMCG, beverage, alcohol, or food
* Confidence engaging directly with liquor stores on ranging discussions, trials, and execution follow-through
* Comfort working across both established wholesale relationships and emerging channels with longer sales cycles
* A practical, organised approach to account and opportunity management
* Strong follow-up, relationship maintenance, and problem-solving skills
* Comfort working with sales data, order patterns, and KPIs
* A preference for structured, repeatable sales processes over ad-hoc selling
Wine industry experience is helpful but not essential — wholesale FMCG experience is more important.
Remuneration
This role offers a
base salary (inclusive of superannuation)
together with a
car allowance
and a
performance-based commission structure
