Clinical Midwife Managers play a pivotal role in shaping the delivery of maternity services for our community.
This role ensures we meet both regional requirements and diverse population needs by managing services, operations, and resources of the Maternity Unit effectively.
* Lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams within Maternity and Assessment Units, Birth Suites, Special Care Nurseries, and Antenatal Clinics.
* Develop operational plans to utilize human, financial, and physical resources effectively, aligning with regional priorities.
* Provide advanced patient care, management, consultancy, and support both within and beyond hospital settings.
Foster culturally sensitive environments that support Aboriginal and other culturally diverse backgrounds.
