About Cadia
Our Cadia Valley Operation in New South Wales is situated about 25 kilometres from Orange and 250 kilometres west of Sydney. Cadia produces gold doré bars from a gravity circuit and gold‑rich copper concentrates from a flotation circuit. The operation includes the Cadia East Mine, which is globally renowned for its use of block caving, a large‑scale underground mining method.
We acknowledge the Wiradjuri people, traditional custodians of the land surrounding Cadia, and proudly run an Indigenous Buddy Programme to enrich the workplace experience for our Indigenous employees. As a residential (drive‑in/drive‑out) mine, Cadia values community deeply, offering both financial and in‑kind support to organisations across Blayney, Cabonne and Orange townships. Your Impact
As a Supervisor Geology – Resource, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate geological data collection and supporting resource modelling and mine planning. Your leadership will drive safe, efficient drilling operations and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance data quality and operational performance.
As Part of Our Team, You Will
* Supervise in‑fill drilling programmes to ensure precise geological data.
* Collaborate with drilling teams on drill hole placement and sampling.
* Maintain accurate records and reports of geological data and activities.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior geologists and drilling crews.
* Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
* Assist in creating drilling schedules and budgets.
* Implement initiatives to improve drilling efficiency and data accuracy.
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
* Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, Earth Science or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of geological mapping, structural geology and integration of datasets.
* Understanding of mine production, mine planning and risk management principles.
* Advanced proficiency in geological mapping and geometric analysis techniques.
* Competence in project and/or contract management.
