About the role
As the Regional Coordinator, you will lead two of Wanslea's regional early learning centres, ensuring delivery of high-quality education and care for children aged 0–5 years. You will embed the principles of "belonging, being and becoming" as outlined in the Early Years Learning Framework and lead the team to provide a supportive, fun, caring environment so children can thrive.
In this role you will:
•Undertake leadership and supervisor responsibilities for our Katanning and Kojonup Early Learning and Development Centres
•Be actively involved in the community and build relationships with stakeholders
•Oversee the coordination of centre operations, including rostering, purchasing, scheduling, supervision and training for staff
•Manage centre budgets, ensuring financial integrity and cost-effective service delivery.
•Support positive outcomes for children through high-quality interactions and practice that aligns with the National Quality Framework
•Be a part of our ECEC Leadership team who work collaboratively to support one another
About you
You are a passionate and experienced early childhood education professional with strong leadership capabilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality, child-centred learning experiences. You hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, Early Childhood Teaching (or a recognised equivalent qualification), and have demonstrated experience in leading staff, students or volunteers, and coordinating programs within a centre-based childcare environment.
You bring a sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (WA) Act 2012 and Regulations, the Early Years Learning Framework, and current funding environments. You understand the importance of child protection legislation and how it applies in practice, and you have experience working collaboratively with families to support positive outcomes for their childcare needs.
You are skilled in developing, planning, coordinating and implementing programs in innovative ways that reflect the individuality of the communities you serve, and you demonstrate knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety obligations. With high-level administrative abilities, you confidently use digital tools to record, retrieve and analyse information. You work independently, show initiative and perform effectively under pressure, while also thriving as a member and leader of a successful team.
