Mathematics Teacher: Year 7-10 and General Mathematics
Secondary, co-educational School
Full-time, Permanent position commencing in 2026
Inner-north Brisbane location with free on and off-site parking and public transport nearby

The School
Hillbrook is a co-educational school of 900 students from Years 7-12, established in 1987. The School is growing over the next two years with up to 1,008 students by 2028.
Our innovative and refreshing approach to education aligns with the Australian Curriculum and reflects Hillbrook's philosophy, 'In Balance we Grow'. We focus on quality teaching and learning and specialise in nurturing adolescents. Students are encouraged to engage in a range of pursuits to achieve a balance between the academic, creative, physical, and spiritual aspects of their lives.
The school actively supports teachers' professional development through study leave, generous professional development opportunities, and access to Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher national certification. The School Leadership Team (SLT) comprises the Principal, Deputy Principal, Dean of Student Wellbeing, Dean of Teaching & Learning, and the Business Manager.
The Position
Hillbrook is seeking a permanent full-time Mathematics Teacher to commence from January 2026. The Mathematics Teacher will have experience teaching Junior Mathematics (Year 7 to Year 10) and Senior Mathematics (Year 11 and 12 General Mathematics). The successful candidate may also be required to take on pastoral care responsibility as a home class teacher.
Applications are sought from teachers who are confident and passionate about engaging adolescents with their learning, have a strong understanding of syllabus requirements and the current educational climate, and are motivated to contribute to curriculum development and teaching pedagogy.
