Classroom Teacher
St Thomas More Catholic Primary School is a single-stream regional school catering for about 200 students from Pre-Kindy to Year 6 situated in Margaret River.
We are seeking a dynamic, highly skilled and passionate Year 3 Teacher who is vibrant, enthusiastic and motivated and loves working in a collaborative, fun and engaging environment.
Selection Criteria
The Successful Candidate Should
* Be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education
* Be able to demonstrate highly competent classroom management and learning area skills
* Possess a sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum
* Demonstrates an understanding of the need for both Explicit and Differentiated instruction within a classroom environment
* Be a creative, flexible and enthusiastic educator who understands and can demonstrate the importance of ICT being embedded and integrated into their teaching practices
* Be an enthusiastic and cooperative team person who will work collaboratively with all teachers and the Leadership Team
* Understand the importance of feedback to parents and students
* Show initiative and participate fully in school activities
* Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and excellent communication and organisational skills
Qualifications Required
* Accreditation requirements as specified by CEWA Ltd
* Relevant 4 year tertiary qualification
