Heavy Diesel Technician Position
Emeco is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Technician to join our team on a dynamic project at Griffin Coal Mine, located near Collie. As a Heavy Diesel Technician with us, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the maintenance and optimisation of our heavy earthmoving fleet.
* Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform ongoing maintenance and optimisation of Emeco's heavy earthmoving fleet.
2. Provide support to the rental fleet as required.
3. Work safely and adhere to relevant HSE policy and procedures to minimise the risk of injury to yourself and others.
4. Ensure all maintenance and optimisation targets are met on time and within budget.
5. Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to meet organisational objectives.

Requirements:
* 2+ years post-trade experience working with heavy earthmoving equipment, specifically Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Hitachi machines.
* Recognised National Heavy Diesel Mechanic/Fitter Trade Qualification.
* Strong understanding of maintenance and reliability principles.
* Analytical mindset and solution-focused attitude.
* Current Australian Driver's License (HR preferred but not essential). A high-risk license is also desirable.
