Are you passionate about supporting students' well-being and personal development? We are seeking an experienced Psychologist/Counsellor to join our dynamic and supportive educational community. This permanent, ongoing role will be based across two campuses of our independent K-12 Christian school.
Trinity College Gladstone is a growing, independent, co-educational Christian College centrally located in the port city of Gladstone, Queensland. Trinity has grown to offer a seamless educational program from Kindergarten to Year 12, on two innovative campuses, with over 600 students.

Responsibilities
As the school's Psychologist/Counsellor, you will play a critical role in promoting students' mental health and well-being. Your work will include individual counselling, group sessions, psychoeducational assessments, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and staff to support student development.
* Provide evidence-based psychological services to K-12 students.
* Conduct assessments and develop strategies for students with learning, behavioural, and emotional challenges.
* Collaborate with teaching staff to support student learning and well-being plans.
* Deliver workshops or presentations for students, parents, and staff on mental health and resilience.
* Support crisis intervention when needed.
* Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and Christ-centred school culture.
Key Selection Criteria
* APAC-accredited postgraduate qualification in psychology, meeting the requirements for general registration (or eligibility for general registration) as a psychologist in Australia.
or
* Recognised qualification in Counselling, meeting the requirements (or able to meet) for membership of the Australian Counselling Association.
* Experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a school setting.
* Strong knowledge of child development, mental health challenges, and learning difficulties.
* Excellent communication, empathy, and teamwork skills.
* Flexibility to work across two campuses as required.
* Committed Christian, active in your church and can subscribe to the College's Confession of Faith found on our website: Confession of Faith
