Head of Operations & Commercial - QSR/Fast Food Franchise
We are a multi brand Fast Food QSR company that is on the move.
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join us on our expansion journey to lead operational performance and commercial strategy across the Retail Systems Group national franchise network. RSG owns the LeWrap and Ali Baba brands, and this role acts as the senior bridge between head office and franchise partners and suppliers.
The Role
As the Head of our Operations Team, your primary focus and objective will be leading our Area Managers to assist franchisees to grow their businesses and boost profitability through operational compliance and commercial strategies.
Your key responsibilities are:
* Franchisee Leadership & Stakeholder Management - building trusted franchise relationships, handling compliance and operational escalations, and leading franchise forums and performance reviews.
* Operations Excellence - leading Area Managers to uphold reporting, compliance, and performance standards; driving consistent food safety, service, and brand execution; and managing and supporting store openings, refurbishments, and network growth.
* Business Solutions & Systems - guiding technology and operational systems, overseeing new system implementations, and partnering with the General Manager on solutions for new stores.
* Supply Chain & Commercial - leading supplier negotiations and COGS optimisation, managing key supplier relationships, owning pricing and margin strategy, and collaborating with leadership on budgets and promotions.
* Product Development - supporting menu development and innovation, ensuring new products are viable and margin‑positive, overseeing testing and rollout documentation, collaborating with Area Managers and Marketing on launches, and upholding food safety and brand standards.
