WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Reporting directly to the HSEQT Manager – Mining, this role is responsible for ensuring full compliance with safety and training requirements across the team.
We are seeking a proactive professional who demonstrates a genuine commitment to safety, while supporting operational outcomes. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to build effective working relationships, and the confidence to uphold safety standards without compromise.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
* Cert IV in Work Health & Safety (essential)
* iCAM qualification, First Aid, and Internal Auditor certifications
* Ideally Cert IV in Training & Assessment (not essential)
* Strong understanding of the WA Work Health and Safety Act 2020, WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022, and related guidelines
* Well-developed skills in reporting, analysis, and documentation
* Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, facilitation, and presentation skills
* Strong organisational and communication abilities
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
* Previous experience in the mining industry, with the ability to coach, mentor, and influence safe work practices
