Care Assistant Job
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and caring Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide support to clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with general household tasks such as cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
* Transport clients to appointments and shopping
* Provide personal care, including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained)
* Social Support or Respite for family/carers
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
* Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
* Good communication skills
* A reliable team player
* Understanding of workplace health and safety
* Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable insured motor vehicle
* Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (not essential as you can complete this through our traineeship program)
