**House Manager (Intensive Therapeutic Care)**
We are seeking a motivated and experienced leader to join our team as a House Manager in an Intensive Therapeutic Care setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of dedicated youth support workers to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people.
The ideal candidate will have a Diploma of Community Services or related field, previous leadership experience in services supporting children and young people, and the ability to provide supervision and support to a team. You will also need to be able to model and support staff in applying therapeutic models of support to children and young people.
About the Role
* Manage home in accordance with legislation, relevant standards, policies and procedures.
* Provide direct care and support to children and young people within a residential care setting.
* Be actively present in the home environment, providing role modelling to staff.
* Oversee and participate in the planning and implementation of therapeutic care plans.
Responsibilities
* Lead a team of youth support workers to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people.
* Develop and implement therapeutic care plans in conjunction with the Therapeutic Specialist and Case Manager.
* Model and support staff in applying the Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) system.
* Provide reflective supervision to your team.
* Create and maintain rostering and staff availability patterns.
Skills and Qualifications
* Diploma of Community Services or related field.
* Previous leadership experience in services supporting children and young people.
* Ability to provide supervision and support to a team.
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate/s.
* Current Driver's Licence.
