Enrolled Nurse - Day of Surgery Admissions - Part-time

About the role:
We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Enrolled Nurse with experience in Day of Surgery Admissions to join our clinical team on a part timebasis with a minimum 48 hours per fortnight.
Opportunity exists to upskill into Peri-operative roles
Duties and responsibilities:
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
Support the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care
Ensure the patients, day surgery and equipment are ready for surgery
Ensure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focus
Enrolled nursing tasks within scope of practice
Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications
Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery
Complete and accurate patient documentation
About You:
You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare.
You will have:
Solid experience in Day of Surgery Admissions
Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or similar
Current AHPRA registration
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in the below specialties desirable
