Responsibilities
* Performing accounting and reporting tasks;
* Maintain the integrity of the GL, assist with the delivery of financial, statutory and tax reporting including EOM and year-end reporting procedures for multiple entities;
* General Ledger, daily Bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, rebates and payments;
* Assist with the day-to-day cash flow management, preparation of budgets, forecasts, variance and sensitivity analysis;
* Examining and analysing operating costs and organisations' income and expenditure;
* Assisting in formulating budgetary and accounting policies;
* Prepare & ensure compliance with statutory reporting obligations, activity statements, BAS, Income Tax and FBT;
* Assist with maintaining an adequate internal control structure and procedures for financial reporting/business processes;
* Maintaining & operating the company's accounting system;
* Liaise with external stakeholders;
* Provide various financial analysis and ad hoc reporting as required
* Supporting the creation of a work environment that fosters openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction.
* Other ah hoc task as required
Skills and Experience
* An Accounting or related degree and CPA/CA/IPA professional qualifications or working towards
* Experience in accounting system software, especially with \"Xero\"
* Experience in finance management including financial and business planning; budget preparation; financial analysis and reporting and management of financial controls
* Minimum 1-2 years of finance management experience required
* The ability to manage multiple stakeholders (internal and external), to drive positive change, provide problem solving ability and be solutions focused
* Knowledge of accounting standards and corporate governance including procurement, audit and risk management
* Exceptional communication skills demonstrated through your ability to understand standard requirements and in return, preparing and presenting the information
* Previous tax and accounting knowledge and experience
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills - Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Excellent time management skills and ability to work to deadlines with minimal direction
* Australian work rights are required for this position
* Experience in the automotive industry and automotive accessories
