Role: Educational Leader - Diploma Qualified
Employment Type: Full Time 38 hours per week OR Part-Time 30 hours per week
Pay: $39.35 - $41.05 (qualification and experience pending) + Educational Leader Allowance $2.68 per hour additional

As an Educational Leader at Goodstart, you'll collaborate with Educators in your centre to observe, review, and continuously enhance the educational programs offered to children. You'll deepen the team's understanding of child development and early years content, guiding the application of the Early Years Learning Framework. Working closely with the centre leadership team, you'll lead transformative changes and champion excellence in educational practice.
About Goodstart Port Kennedy
Location is near Warnbro Shopping Centre with easy access to local shops. Easy access via bus stops and bicycle spaces. Free onsite parking. The centre is a 99-place facility with five dynamic rooms and three outdoor play areas. It has a shared vegetable garden, a welcoming foyer, and a well-equipped staff room.
Supported by a Centre Director with 15 years of early childhood experience. The culture is multicultural, supporting languages such as Portuguese, Hindi, Punjabi, and Māori. The vision is to provide a safe, creative, and diverse environment where children can thrive.

You'll need
* Diploma in Early Childhood or ACECQA approved equivalent
* Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
* Strong understanding of inclusive practices that support all children, aligning with best practices and legal requirements
* Current Western Australia Working with Children Check
