This is a very exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and reliable Hose Assembler / Assembly Operator who wants to join a world leading company. Although experience within the Hose Industry is preferred, Parker will provide an opportunity to a mechanically minded individual who is prepared to learn.
The role is located in Welshpool, WA. Work hours are Monday - Friday, 38 per week.
Responsibilities
* Timely manufacture of hydraulic hoses to fulfill customer requirements; meeting customer's deadlines
* Ensure hose assemblies are manufactured accurately according to the required specifications; product, length, orientation and crimp dimensions as well as testing and tagging
* Conduct required tests for the hoses to ensure high level of quality
* Pick, Issue and complete Works Orders
The ideal candidate will also be trained in the following job tasks and responsibilities.
* Cut & Deburr Tube Material
* Set & Operate CNC Tube Bender and EOMat Uni
* Operate Romer Inspection Arm
Experience / Skills Required
* Previous experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment
* Knowledge in hydraulic hose assembly will be highly regarded
* Ability to work in a team environment
* A positive, "can do" attitude
* High level of mechanical aptitude and ability to problem solve
