Job Opportunity: Qualified Chef at The Good Company & Co Training Café (Joondalup)
Hours: Wednesday – Sunday, 6am–2pm or 2 part-timers considered.
Location: The Good Company & Co, Joondalup
We’re looking for a qualified chef who cares about more than just food. Please take the time to read the ad and understand this is more than just a chef’s role.
At The Positive Company & Co Training Café, meals bring people together, and the kitchen is also a space for growth and learning.
This role is not just about cooking. It’s about sharing your professional skills, mentoring others, and helping people gain confidence and independence in a supportive environment. You’ll be guiding team members of all abilities, while keeping the café running smoothly.
What we’re looking for
- A qualified chef with proven kitchen experience.
- Patience and kindness in teaching and mentoring others.
- A good sense of humour (because laughter makes everything better!)
- Passion for giving back to the community
What you’ll be doing
- Training and supporting people to learn food prep and hospitality skills.
- Creating a warm, inclusive, and fun environment for all.
You must have
- Minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery
- Food Safety Handling Certificate & Food Safety Supervisor Cert.
