About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced legal professional to join our team as a Legal Counsel.
The successful candidate will provide internal legal advice and training on a wide range of issues, supporting the organisation's strategic objectives and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities include providing legal guidance, managing legal risk, and developing internal systems and processes for managing legal risks across the organisation.
The role will also involve working closely with colleagues from different disciplines to implement legal risk management and develop legal strategies.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in corporate law, governance, shareholder rights, and/or financial services law. You should also have excellent legal management and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to the organisation's mission and values.
Australian legal qualifications and at least three years' post-admission experience are essential. Experience using the law for strategic purposes and exposure to corporate law in other jurisdictions would be highly desirable.
