Reporting to the Deputy Project Director, we\'re looking for an Area Manager to take Owner-side accountability for a defined scope of Australia\'s first fully integrated rare earths processing facility from design through to commissioning and handover.
What you\'ll deliver
* Management & Governance Own delivery accountability for your Area, representing the Owner at key EPCM project control and progress meetings, monitoring contractor performance against KPIs and intervening or escalating where required.
* Technical & Engineering Partner with the Engineering Manager to ensure EPCM design deliverables meet Owner technical, operability, and lifecycle standards, with cross-functional input from engineering and operational readiness teams.
* Cost, Schedule & Risk Management Oversee EPCM cost control, forecasting, and schedule performance for your Area, driving proactive identification and mitigation of execution and interface risks.
* Procurement & Contracts Support oversight of EPCM-managed procurement packages within your Area, reviewing key contract awards and change requests for alignment with project objectives and governance standards.
* Construction, Commissioning & Handover Oversee construction execution planning and contractor management, ensuring safety, quality, and environmental compliance through to commissioning readiness and effective handover to Operations.
What you bring
* 10+ years of senior project leadership in major resources projects, ideally representing the Owner or EPCM
* A track record of greenfield delivery and genuine comfort with ambiguity
* Strong command of EPCM contracting frameworks, project controls, and governance
* Proven integrator across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning interfaces
* Owner-side experience working within and alongside EPCM delivery models
