Duties and Responsibilities
This role involves a variety of one-on-one and group physiotherapy services provided to residents in aged care facilities. Some regular duties include:
17. Functional assessments on admission, quarterly/annually, and as required
18. Post falls reviews
19. Rehabilitation and short-term restorative care
20. Small-group Exercise classes
21. Wellness programs
22. Manual handling training
Skills and Qualifications
23. A Bachelor of Physiotherapy OR an equivalent recognised internationally
24. Must have experience in providing Functional Assessment and Post Falls Reviews
25. Full AHPRA Registration
26. Drivers’ license and reliable vehicle
27. Professional indemnity insurance, or willingness to obtain
28. Valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or willingness to obtain
29. 2023 Flu Vaccine Certificate, or willingness to obtain
30. COVID vaccine certificate, or willingness to obtain
