With a recent influx of exciting new projects, Primus Build is looking for a motivated and organised Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment supporting a variety of residential renovations, commercial works, and insurance repair projects.
Job Description:
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date files for all active projects
* Assist in the preparation of reports, quotes, and drawings
* Ensure all required documentation and approvals are obtained and submitted
* Follow up with Loss Adjusters and Insurers regarding project status, scope changes, and inspections
* Coordinate and schedule site inspections in line with project timelines
* Serve as the primary point of contact between the company, Loss Adjusters, Insurers, and clients
* Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls and emails professionally
* Perform invoicing, receipting, and general bookkeeping tasks
* Scan, file, and organise documentation
* Conduct data entry into company systems and maintain internal registers
Order and manage office supplies as needed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Full-time work eligibility in Australia
* Immediate availability to start work
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative or office support role (construction industry experience preferred but not essential)
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
* A proactive attitude and strong attention to detail
* Honest, reliable, and committed to supporting the team's success
* Valid driver's license (preferred but not essential)
