Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Railway Electrician who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Brisbane, Australia.
We are expanding our team to meet the demands of our growing project portfolio. We have work in hand that takes us through to **** and beyond. You will be part of dynamic, innovative, and collaborative team renowned for its world-class thinking and solutions.
You will be working to execute the ETCS L2 project. Your key accountabilities include undertaking physical construction activities, executing construction activities by interpreting signalling documentation and drawings and functional construction documentation.
You will support the Electrical team and subcontractors to deliver the ETCS L2 project plan. All electrical works must be undertaken in accordance with the project delivery plan. Compliance with all Health Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements and initiatives is also crucial.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Trade qualification in signalling and/or electrical.
* 2+ years in Railway signalling.
* Demonstrated competency in implementing Health & Safety initiatives.
* Outstanding planning and organisational skills.
* Demonstrated experience working within a brownfield railway signalling environment.
* Knowledge of software tools and technical systems.
