Our client within Queensland State Government is looking for a detail oriented and customer service professional to join their busy team as a Procurement Support Officer in their Nerang office.
In this role you will:
* Maintain and improve procedures for the entry and amendment of supplier data to ensure compliance with internal policies, risk management requirements and audit standards.
* Develop and maintain supplier records in relevant systems by reviewing and verifying supplier information for accuracy and completeness.
* Apply a high level of attention to detail to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
* Maintain the integrity of supplier licensing and insurance records, coordinate system updates, and provide regular reporting on suspended or cancelled licences.
* Provide efficient, professional and high-quality customer service to suppliers, industry representatives and internal stakeholders.
* Monitor and manage internal and external correspondence, including incoming and outgoing calls, to ensure responses are provided within required timeframes.
* Review and action updates to instructions, procedures, guidelines and standard forms while maintaining appropriate document control.
* Prepare, run and distribute reports as required to support operational and compliance outcomes.
To be successful you will:
* Be proficient in the use Microsoft Office applications effectively, with strong capability in Excel.
* Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with performance measures, service standards and competing priorities.
* Build and maintain productive relationships with suppliers and internal and external stakeholders to support timely and effective service delivery.
* Demonstrate professionalism, contribute positively to team culture, and support consistent delivery of recurring operational work.
