As a leading supplier of high-quality water purification systems in Australia – We design, project manage and service systems for a variety of facilities and industries.
We are seeking a motivated and customer focused Senior Service Technician to join our team based in Brisbane, QLD. You will be responsible for providing service support, including breakdown and scheduled maintenance and servicing to our customers throughout Queensland.
To apply for this position, you will need to be a hands-on person with a very good technical aptitude.
What the role looks like:
* Provide scheduled and unscheduled servicing of a high technical standard on a diverse range of equipment, including Reverse Osmosis, UV, Media Filtration, Ozone and a deionisation tank exchange program.
* Prepare detailed service reports for services completed on site for our key accounts and service contract clients.
* Assist with the preparation of service quotations with the admin and sales team.
* Help identify opportunities for business growth to both the benefit of the customer and the company.
* Assist in educating customers on the safe and correct operation of their system/s.
* Be prepared to continually develop your technical knowledge on our products and services.
* Working in both metro and remote. Some overnight travel will be required to support our regional customers.
* Previous experience in water purification systems would be advantageous.
What we are looking for:
* TAFE/ Trade qualifications (or higher) in electrical or plumbing or other relevant areas highly desired (but not essential)
* At least 3-5 years minimum experience in the industry or a related field
* Prior experience within the water treatment sector preferred, but not mandatory.
* Excellent personal skills.
* Competent and comfortable in a customer facing role.
* Team player with the ability to work unsupervised.
* Be competent to trouble shoot and fault find.
* Physically fit.
* Intermediate computer and Microsoft Office skills.
* Police Check and Working with Children essential.
