OverviewRespect Aged Care's Masters Lodge in Hervey Bay is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Food Services Assistants to join our kitchen team on a part-time basis.In this essential role, you will help ensure that our residents receive well-prepared, nutritious meals that meet their individual dietary needs and enhance their daily living experience.
If you thrive in a supportive team environment and have a genuine commitment to making a difference, we would love to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation, portioning, serving, and timely delivery of meals and refreshments to residentsEnsure meals are served in accordance with individual dietary requirements and preferences, as outlined by clinical staff and the Food Services Program (FSP)Support the implementation and ongoing monitoring of the FSP, including temperature checks, recording deliveries, and maintaining food safety standardsMaintain cleanliness in food preparation, service, and dining areas in line with hygiene and safety standardsWash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to support a clean and secure environmentCommunicate effectively with residents and staff to ensure satisfaction and address food-related concernsPerform other related tasks as directed and appropriate to your skills and trainingQualifications & ExperienceCompletion of a recognised Food Handling CourseA current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain)Previous experience in residential aged care food services is highly regardedBackground in hospitality or catering will be well regardedKnowledge of food safety regulations and dietary requirements in an aged care setting is an advantageWhy Join Respect Aged Care?
